Tastings on Hastings is the NSW North Coast’s premier food and wine festival drawing exhibitors and patrons from Greater Port Macquarie and surrounding regions and attracting visitors from regional NSW and Sydney.

2016 was a fantastic weekend event showcasing 115 exhibitors including regional farmers, artisans, food producers, wine growers, brewers, restaurants and cafés and was patronized by over 20,000 people.

Born from the Hastings Farmers Markets, Tastings on Hastings’ core objective is to highlight and promote the farming, fresh produce, gourmet products, local artisans, wines, beers, chefs, restaurants and cafés of the local region.

In 2017, we celebrate 15 years of local culinary delight. Over the many years the event has grown to become one of the most recognised and patronised events on the regional calendar.

The event began as a Council initiative to promote and highlight the regions producers.  For the first two years it was held at Cassegrain Winery, then relocated to the Port Macquarie Racecouse for a further seven years. For its 10th anniversary in 2012, the event moved to the Port Macquarie CBD located on the Town Green overlooking the Hastings River.

The event plays an integral role in helping to promote our regions producers further afield and to generate visitation to our area.  Tastings on Hastings is owned and produced by Port Macquarie-Hastings Council.

Planning for the 2017 is currently underway.  Contact us to register your interest in Exhibitor and Sponsorship opportunities for the 2017 Tastings on Hastings Event.
