The Tastings on Hastings festival returns to Port Macquarie for three action packed days of culinary celebrations that will tempt your taste buds on Friday 28, Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 October 2016.
Born from the Hastings Farmers Markets, our regions premier food festival aims to showcase our regional farmers, artisans, food producers, wine growers, brewers, restaurants and cafes.
This year our ‘Fire, Water, Harvest’, theme will ignite the senses with a smorgasbord of offerings including a night time festival, celebrity chef dinners, cooking demonstrations, masterclasses and the popular main event.
We are thrilled to have celebrity chef Matt Moran joining us for the Tastings on Hastings weekend to host a cooking demonstration at the Glasshouse and two fine-dining experiences at The Stunned Mullet showcasing fresh local produce.
The main Tastings event will be held on Sunday 30 October on the Town Green from 9am – 4pm and will be separated into five main areas:
- The Farmer’s Markets
- The Restaurant Precinct
- The Main Stage
- The Beer and Wine Precinct
- The Makers Markets
